Adjust brightness and contrast across your PDF
Make dark scans easier to read or improve faint document images. Compare the original and adjusted page before exporting.
Every page is rendered as an image at 144 dpi with the same brightness and contrast settings. The visible page size and order are retained, including rotated pages.
How to use it
- Add your PDF. Select one document to load its page preview.
- Adjust the sliders. Brightness lightens or darkens the image; contrast changes the separation between dark and light tones. Zero is neutral.
- Check every page. Use Previous page and Next page to compare the Before and After images.
- Process and download. The settings are applied to all pages, not just the previewed page.
Before you export
- Keep your original. Rasterizing removes selectable text, links and interactive form fields. Filled form appearances are included as pixels.
- Start gently. Extreme settings can hide faint handwriting or wash out detail.
- Private by design. Your file is processed inside your own browser. It is never uploaded to a server, so nobody else can see it.

Will the output have selectable text?
